Real madrids top 8 greatest spanish players compared with Ramos to be the Best

Ramos has become one of the most successful players in Real Madrid’s history since joining the club in 2005.
The defender has amassed a collection of 22 trophies with Los Blancos, including five LaLiga titles and four Champions Leagues.


That total is just one trophy less than the haul of the legendary Paco Gento , who is widely considered the greatest Spaniard to put on the famous white shirt.


Alfredo Di Stefano obtained a Spanish passport during his time at Los Blancos, which allowed him to win two Ballon d’Or awards, but he was
born in Argentina.


Here, we’ve looked at eight players born in Spain who rival Ramos as Real Madrid’s greatest Spaniard.


Paco Gento
Real Madrid’s honorary president played for the club between 1953 and 1971.
During that time, he won a record 23 trophies, including 12 LaLiga titles and six European Cups.
In his 600 appearances for Los Blancos, Gento scored 180 goals.


Raul
The emergence of Raul in the 1990s saw Real Madrid move into a new golden era. In his 16-year career between 1994 and 2010,
the forward won three Champions League titles, scoring in two finals.
In total, Raul scored 323 goals in 741 games for Los Blancos.


Iker Casillas
If he’s not the best Spaniard in Real Madrid’s history, Casillas is certainly the club’s greatest ever goalkeeper.
Between 1999 and 2015, he played a total of 725 matches in between the sticks for Los Blancos.   His medal collection includes three Champions Leagues and five LaLiga titles.


Emilio Butragueno
The forward formed part of the notorious Quinta del Buitre alongside Michel , Manolo Sanchis and Martin Vazquez .
This attacking line-up led Real Madrid to five consecutive LaLiga titles and two UEFA Cups.


Pirri
He was the physical embodiment of what it means to give your all for Real Madrid.
Between 1964 and 1980, Pirri played 561 games for Los Blancos, scoring 172 goals and winning the European Cup in 1966.


Amancio
A scorer in the 1966 European Cup final, the forward dazzled with his dribbling skills and eye for goal from the right wing. Amancio played a key part in Los Blancos’ successes, winning several LaLiga titles in the 1960s and 70s.


Ricardo Zamora
The goalkeeper played for Real Madrid in the 1930s, forming part of the first league title winning side in the club’s history.
He is a legendary figure in Spanish football, with Thibaut Courtois winning the trophy named after him in LaLiga Santander this season.


Jose Antonio Camacho
A first-team player between 1973 and 1989, Camacho won nine LaLiga titles in 577 appearances for Los Blancos.
Camacho was at the club in the era of Juanito ,Santillana , Miguel Angel and Vicente del Bosque , who earned Real Madrid plenty of success.
