Dani cebalos to stay Arsenal

According to the excellent Sport Witness – a number of Spanish reports over the last week have hinted at Ceballos staying at the club for at least one more season. Whether
it is just a loan with no option to buy like this year, or a loan with option to buy, or mandatory buy, or buy this
summer, nobody knows yet, but it does appear likely that Ceballos will be an Arsenal player next season.

Whilst most were on the fence with Dani before lockdown, his form since the restart has been excellent, and aside from Emiliano Martinez, he’s probably been the Gunners standout player. Becoming more influential in midfield, the Spaniard demands the ball and helps the Gunners control
the game in spells, whilst his defensive work rate andcontributions are often understated and underrated. No player made more tackles than Ceballos in the victory against Manchester City, for example.

Ceballos progression over the season has been notable and fans will be excited that his improvement could
continue next season – but fans will also be conscious of developing a player for another club, Madrid, if it is just another loan.

Therefore at least an option to buy in another loan certainly should be within the negotiations of Arsenal, as they look to build a squad that can challenge in the future.

Ceballos turns 24 in August and has his best years ahead of him – lets ensure they are at Arsenal if he stays on the same trajectory.
